Party Animal!

Back to Wichita for another wedding!  This time I had the most handsome date I have ever had.
My cousin, Rachel, was a beautiful bride.
This was a big, fat, Lebanese wedding.
With tons of family, kids, babies, dancing, drinking and amazing food.

I could not get my date off the dance floor!
Trent is a PARTY ANIMAL!
He loved the dance floor, music, lights and people.

Even the professional camera man loved him!
I also found out that he loves hummus and pita bread.....
The next morning we both found out it didn't like him so much....
(I thought for sure Jake was in bed with me...if you catch my drift...)
(HA Drift!)
Maybe we will wait a little while to try hummus again :)
We really missed Dada lots and are so glad he is feeling better!
Congrats Rachel and Alan!

Hutchinson

Today Jake dropped off his gallbladder in Hutchinson. Surgery was fast and he did wonderful.
We were home by 1:30.
He is pretty sore, but I think after a few days he will feel better than he has for months.
While in Hutch we had to have some fun!
We are so lucky to have our little one who always reminds us of what is truly important and just how to take time to enjoy life, the little things, and each other.
Trents first zoo visit!
This big ugly Turkey was his fav!

He also loved these wooden guys!
He talked and talked and talked with them.
This guy really liked Trent.....

"He is an Old Soul"

"A spiritual person whom is wise beyond their years; people of strong emotional stability. Basically, someone whom has more understanding of the world around them. Some people even believe an old soul is a person whom has learned from past incarnations, or lives. They aquired certain knowledge from their past lives and apply it to their present life... thus gaining more wisdom than the average bloke."  ~Urban dictionary
We have often been told that Trent seems to be "an old soul".  I don't really know if he is or not, but he did have fun playing "old time"!

Our 9 month old is.......

19lbs 11oz (25th%til)

28 in (50th %til)

I was worried about the drop in "%" but the Dr. reassured me that it is due to the fact that he never sits still and this is normal for a speed racing, bear-crawling, wrestle-maniac growing boy. Oh, did I mention that he can eat half a yam, 2 oz of pears, an entire banana and 4 oz of formula at one meal?
