Cheesy!

I always told myself

My kids would never have those cheesy

over marketed

 Stereotypical,

overpriced children's items.

Like light up shoes

with cars on them.

That was before I knew

how happy those things

could make him.

14months/14weeks

Our 14 month old is

spunky

loving

Dada mimicking (see above photo :) )

funny

music loving

energetic

FINALLY getting a 3rd tooth.

Our 14 week old (fetus!) is

showing some of the same spunk!

Moving more often,

especially when big brother is laying on mamas belly.

Has a heart rate of 164.

Goes crazy when mama eats ice.

Is the size of a lemon.

Happy B-day Dada!!

Trent had a blast preparing for Jake's B-day.

He VERY carefully painted Dada a picture.

He was very proud of the results and Dada loved the gift too.

He screamed with joy through Dillons as we picked out the balloons and cake.  And we all enjoyed eating the cake!

But his favorite part was picking out the card.

He dances and dances every time.

Oh, and Dada (and Gracie) liked his "Macho Man" card too!

BIG review

Remember this post?

It seems like yesterday.

I can't believe it was over four months ago.

I remember how nervous I was thinking about all we had

ahead of us.

But, turns out, our BIG summer

was nothing to be nervous about.

Now I am a little sad it is over.

It went too fast

and

I see how much Trent has changed

and I think back to

his orange sno-ball

that kept me sane

that day.

                                  The summer ended just as fun as it began!

Party,party party!

TERRIFIED!!

Of bubbles in the bath,

that is!

I thought for sure

he would like them,

or at least

tolerate them.

But he SCREAMED,

threw his arms up,

jumped up

and attempted to throw himself

out of the tub.

His eyes were HUGE

like someone was

after him.

It took me about 5 minutes

to calm him down

even after we got out

of the tub!

Just to note-the water was only about an inch deep

with very fine bubbles on top.

No deep, endless pool where you

cover your child's head with bubbles

and take really cute pictures.

I was trying to start him out easy.

Guess we won't try that again

any time soon.

Bubble Boy

I just gave Trent his first bubble bath.

Unfortunately there are no pictures because

I once again left my memory card

in the computer

which was downstairs

and he was already in the tub

when I realized it was missing.

I really wish I wouldn't forget that

darn

card.

I keep missing stuff!
