Strong Bell Pepper

Hello our little Bell Pepper!
You are now 18 weeks and have a
Heart Rate of 157, though you tried to not share!
The nurse could faintly hear you,
you were way back in mamas belly.
So she pushed down on mama to get you to move.
Oh my, you are strong and you were mad!
You flipped around, bounced off one side of mama
and kicked that Doppler!
Not only did we hear a loud "thunk"
but we also found your heart beat,
you are wild just like your big brother!
Speaking of.....
your big brother is really all
BOY!
He is loving
dirt
worms
trucks
balls
running
and
wrestling.
No worms for me,
thank you!
Oh, I can't squeeze him like that?
Maybe Gracie wants a worm!

10 in 10

During my childhood my parents
had a coffee table book entitled
"A Day in the Life".
I loved flipping through the big colorful pages.
I must have looked at that book hundreds of times.
It featured many pictures from all over the world
taken at the exact same time.
I found that simple glimpse into the lives of others
so intriguing.
This was way before the time of
Internet, blogs, cell phones and tweets.
Now we can keep up with each other like never before.
Although I do not tweet, hardly text and barely surf the Internet, I do enjoy reading blogs.
I love to get that glimpse into the lives of others.
I love to get advice, support and ideas from other mothers.
I love to hear that my struggles with
motherhood, marriage and everything in between
is normal.
The Blogs of others make me feel
blessed,
connected,
make me laugh and make me cry.
They make me want to be a better person.
I think I am not alone in those feelings.
I am sure that is why blogging
and any form of immediate sharing of our lives
is so popular right now.
That is why I really liked the "10 in 10"
project many bloggers are doing.
10 pictures in 10 hours.
Of a day in life.
Boring it may seem.
But still, interesting....at least I think so!
So, here is today.
Jake has been working long hard days,
so Trent and I have been enjoying our time together.
(But can't wait to see Dada tomorrow!)

Beautiful Day

The best part about having kids
is the excuse
to be a kid!
But when those rides get
any faster
or higher....
Dada's turn!
We all loved the Pumpkin Patch!

Trent is always excited about doing anything outside.

Then add to that
his love for all Halloween and Fall Paraphernalia...

And he was in Heaven!

I think he waved to every Scarecrow!

Was not too sure about his new family we tried to leave him with!

It was a beautiful day!

Our Babes

                                                            Our little avocado
will be doubling in size
in the next few weeks
has a heart pumping over 25 quarts of blood a day
and is practicing facial expressions~
Our big guy
is 23 pounds (25th %til)
30 in tall (10th %til)
Ok, not so big~
but he thinks he is!
Still loves going outside and thinks that anytime he brings you a
"Shaa oooohh?" (Shoe, said as a question).
he gets to go outside.
Must be getting all the rest of his teeth at once
because his mouth hurts.
He wakes saying "Ouueee" and pointing to his mouth.
Poor guy.
Oh, did I mention he is still sooooo busy
and never stops moving anyway?

Yeah für den Herbst!

Start the day with a nap.....
Brats, Sauerkraut, Bierocks and Beer...

Running and laughing...

Dancing the Polka...

Making new friends.

That is how to enjoy Octoberfest!!

Once again...
start with a nap!

The finest are called
to the line of ...
dooo-ty..

It was only his second parade,
but the boy knew how
to fight for the candy!

His favorites included the bands,
tractors
and dogs.

I have him trained well...
bring mama the chocolate!!

But once the smarties came
he realized that he was actually picking up candy
and wouldn't think of parting with those!

Is Dada in there?

Vielleicht fallen ist nicht so schlimm!
