11 months!!!!

Hey Baby

big boy!

You continue to be a blast.

You are always happy,

except when you get mad.....

and somehow have learned to throw

yourself backward

and onto the ground

to roll on the floor

then look to see if anyone is watching....

After 11 months of warning

your brother

you have finally

taken the lead

and are tackling him.

The two of you

looked so adorable

this morning

after Daddy got you dressed

for Church.

love the outdoors.

Crawling all around

the driveway

chasing a ball

or your brother.

You have given up on walking for now.

Guess crawling is faster!

You love to wave and say "Bye-bye".

And are always trying to attack

the dog......

A few years ago

Jake and I attended

A Weekend To Remember.

It was a very intense

eye opening

marriage strengthening 2 days.

I highly recommend this getaway

to any married couple

in any stage of marriage

on their

highs

or lows,

it is a wonderful experience.

So, when we heard

that

Family Life

was doing not just a weekend

but a Cruise,

we knew we couldn't miss it!

We had an amazing time together

got caught up on some much needed sleep

and were able to put each other first.

The sunshine felt wonderful

and the water was freezing

but beautiful and refreshing.

I was excited to use up the

water camera

we took to Great Wolf

so I could develop them finally,

but was greatly disappointed

those didn't turn out.

I didn't realize how dark it was in there

and the camera didn't have a flash.

I tried to photo shop,

but had no idea what I was doing,

so just made them worse.

But, if you look real close

you can see us in there somewhere!

Jake dove and saw

some really great stuff.

I was happily sunning myself

ABOVE water!

He fell asleep floating

on the lazy river!

I was really bad about taking pictures

of our trip.....

that was all,

aside from some

I took on the airplane

to show the boys.

They had a blast at Sittie and Grandads.

Today Big Guy said

"Guess what Mom, yesterday I went to

Chuck-E-Cheeses with Sittie and Grandad!"

(all past events are yesterday!)

Thank you again Mom and Dad,

it was hard to leave them

but I am glad

we took out time

for ourselves

and you got to bond

with the boys!

The next cruise

is a year away,

we have it in our radar!

Firsts....and a last!

When I found out it was

FUN NIGHT

at a local school....

I knew we had to go.

Fun night was always

the best time

when I was little.

I told Jake I wanted to take the boys

and guess what....

he never had fun night growing up!

Poor guy!

So, we all got to enjoy our first

fun night together!

Bubba still talks about

the games and prizes.

(and he says it was at HIS school.....)

Girlfriend turned 1!

These two used to LOVE each other...

they must be in a fight

because they just

plain ignore each other now!

Bubba insisted on holding his brother....

I told him it might be the LAST time.....

This was probably the first

Kansas January

where we planned a day

outside

no coats

with warm sunshine!

ANNNDDDD......

Baby's FIRST slusheeee!!!!

(I think he was just shocked by it!)

And really only cared about

playing in the sand!

enjoying all our firsts!
