Women Of Faith

This year
I traveled with 17
other women to
in KC.
As busy
mothers and wives,
it is often difficult to
find time for ourselves.
In fact,
the very first thing
the first speaker on the first night
said was...
"Don't worry,
the pizza may be burnt,
and it is 7:30,
bedtime, but they are just now eating....
its ok....
he can handle it....
they are still alive!"
Once we could all relax
and know that our
families could survive
without us,
we had a wonderful
weekend of
heart-felt speakers,
wonderful worship
and laughing sooo hard we cried!
I feel so blessed
to have women in my life
that share
the same stresses and challenges
as me.
The friendships
I have formed make
raising our children
and
being the wives
He has called us to be
while putting Him first
so much easier.
The conference was
"Believe".
Believe in yourself,
Believe God can do anything
Believe you have a purpose
and it will be fulfilled.
I struggle with
the insecurity
that I am NOT
fulfilling my calling.
The best line I heard
all weekend was
from
She spoke on this topic,
saying not to worry
when we do arrive
He will not condemn us,
He will say
"Great job my Servant, great job."
After a day and a half
of uplifting
messages
and music,
you really believe
you CAN do anything!

Back to real life on Sunday.....
grumpy, exhausted family...
but I must maintain focus
and remember...

God can do anything! —Luke 1:37 NCV

KC!

Jake and I
had a wonderful
weekend in KC!
I had a meeting,
but we managed to have
some fun too!
Go Royals!
This year,
they played well (finally!),
so it was fun to be in
a FULL stadium!
We were
also able
to meet up
with some great friends!
The boys had
their own vacation
in Wichita and
had a fantastic time!
Hitting the
Pumpkin Patch
together!

And practicing
Golf!

and I am sure
much more spoiling
went down!

Block Party!

We attended the
Hays Block Party
a few weeks ago....
There was tons of fun stuff!
Sean was scared of everything.....
But Trent had a GREAT time!
That evening
Jake and I had a night out
for his Birthday.
We went to the Brewery
that was opened by a
man from Brownell.....
guess what beer
Jake tried?!
Fun times!

Happy B-Day Daddy!

The boys spent
the entire day
getting ready
for Daddy's special night!

Helping has
its perks!
Good thing I have help...
Daddy's favorite meal
takes a while to prepare!
Daddy will
LOVE this!!
Growing up,
we had a special
"Birthday Plate".
I have been searching,
and finally found one
for our family!
Jake was the first one
to use it!

His yearly paintings,
fav candy...

And a new campin' chair!
But...
nothing beats the box!
I don't know how
they fit in there!
Yummyyyy!
Game time!

I lost count of how many times
we sang...

but only once
was to Jake!
"Hey, what about ME??!!"
Happy #37 Daddy!
