4th of July dessert prep!

We finally got rain!

So, for the first time in 4 years

a fireworks stand was in Hays!

The poppers from Dillons

were their fav anyway....

red white and blue snacks!

We went into Ransom

to watch

fireworks and

the JRyan Band.

Swimmin' and hikin'!

Because of the burn ban

at the lake,

we waited until we returned to Hays

to do our fireworks.

After all the excitement in buying them,

they were actually scared

of most.

They did love the sparklers though!

on his Birthday,

This was a great, fun day!

When I first asked

what he wanted to do,

he said

"Sit around and eat nuts and talk."
