sometimes I feel like
the worst mother
in the
world.
I wonder if
I am doing this thing right.
I worry that
I put too much pressure
on my boys.
That I will steer them wrong.
Am I hugging them enough?
Am I hugging them enough?
And.....
I forget
I forget
to buy
them
clothes.
Like I said before,
typical KS weather last week
going from steaming hot
to pretty cool
practically over night.
It caught me off guard.
Do my kids have winter clothes???
Luckily baby
has some
hand-me-downs
that will fit for now
but
poor big guy.....
I thought maybe we could get away
with last year's pants....
nope
he grew a little more than I thought!
We tried to shop a little...
but
It is not easy finding
pants to fit his no-waisted body.
Guilt overwhelmed me.
That night I tried to sleep
but tossed and turned
knowing my poor sweet boy
had no clothes for winter.
So, I got out of bed and did some midnight
on-line shopping.
Ahhh....now I can sleep!
Jake asked me the next morning if
that 12 hours of waiting to order
really made a difference....
I don't know,
but it gave me some piece of mind.
I had big guy try on another pair
of old jeans,
asking him to say something
"sad".
He put the jeans on and yelled
"Enchilada!!!!!"
(I wasn't sure if I should take this personal,
do you not like my enchiladas?)
I then told him to look sad and say
"Booohooo".
This is the saddest he got~
Thanks for the reality check buddy!
You could care less that
your jeans are
high-waters
or your shirts are all
3/4 length sleeves.
You just want
"Mommy play with me!"
Sounds good to me,
I hate shopping anyway!
