At Play!

Trent really wanted a

bow and arrow.

Christmas was still a while

away...so

Grandma and Papa

made him one!

It works awesome!

I have been 

organizing

and getting rid

of things we don't use anymore....

But for some reason,

when I get the "baby" toys

out to give away....

the boys think they

are the best toys ever!

(having a hard time purging!)

These little foam

activity kits

are the best!

Always something

fun to play here!

Paintin' Fools!

It was finally time....

to get our 

paintin' on!

Originally,

when we moved in our home,

I loved the

neutral paint tones.

But, after 3.5 years

of looking at the same

colored walls....

well....

it is time for some COLOR!

Last year Trent

picked colors

for his room.

Now it was Sean's turn

to pick for the play-room.

But, they were soooo

excited,

I decided to let them

do their own work too!

he dressed himself! 

After a fun trip

to the park,

we painted our finds....

I planned on a "10"

on "10" day...

but forgot until about 10 am....

so we will start there!

Church arrival!

1030-

Our Church boxed up

3,000 boxes for

"Operation Christmas Child"!

The boys loved

making their boxes.

I assumed we would

do 2 boys their age...

but they both chose to

do a box for a little girl.

We had so much fun looking

for girl stuff!

1100~

Worship!

Daddy was working,

so it was some quiet Mommy time....

"Generosity"....

1200~(lunch with my boys at

Applebees, forgot camera but

we had fun playing

"I-Spy" while waiting on our food!

Working on that huge bag-o-candy!

Quiet time!

Into our comfy clothes...

we all took a great

nap this day.

And then....

the rest is history

because I forgot

I was doing this project....;)

Yummy!

Lebanese food

is a common dinner

in our home.

It is healthy,

delicious

and for the most part

super easy to cook.

This food is in my blood.

Luckily,

my family loves it too.

One of our favorites

is Grape-leaves.

My Sity had

her own grapevine

in her backyard

where she would pick

her own leaves.

We don't have that luxury,

but luckily the leaves 

do come jarred.

One day I was

craving them soooo bad,

that was the one goal....

make grape leaves!

The boys were grumpy

as we went to the store,

but we only needed a few things.

We ran to 

the "small" Dillons.....

boys on bad behavior...

I forgot they don't sell

the leaves at this Dillons....ugh!

I was DETERMINED 

to have them,

but knew I couldn't 

drag them to another store.

So, I ran through produce

and grabbed some

Big Leaf Lettuce.....

It worked!

My "Lettuce Wraps"

were delicious!

Please ignore my poor wrapping skills!

My Lebanese heritage

means so much to me.

The boys sometimes

get a little worried by the 

different looking foods,

but I remind them that 

"Sit-Sity was the one

who taught me these recipes!"

and they get 

excited

and chow down.

I love passing on

tradition!

Hmmmm....

I may need to make these again

TODAY!

Dinosaur!

The critter party

was at the Museum,

but we didn't actually

get to go into the museum.

As much as the boys

loved the party,

they were very upset 

they didn't get to see the dinosaurs.

So....

we went back...

This place

never gets old!

had to leave the room,

but none of the kids

were worried!

Sean and "Papa"

got along great!

He made me a little nervous,

but he treated 

this 1 day old mouse

with TLC!
