Sean had his Birthday party
at school.
He was sooo excited!
He chose to take brownies and fruit snacks
and loved making the brownies
{almost} by himself!
I felt out of control with disciplining
the boys.
Instead of positive reinforcement,
we felt like we were yelling all the time.
So, we implemented the "Star rewards" chart.
Now, if they don't complete chores
or behave poorly, they lose a star.
BUT, when they get enough stars,
they earn rewards!
This has been a GREAT system!
Their behavior has improved,
and even better,
we don't have to yell anymore!
Their first reward was a picnic at the park.
They were sooo proud and excited!
Birthday lunch!
He chose the "cotton candy restaurant".
Unfortunately it was broken, but he was still happy!
Silly, excited boy!
