Jake and I finally got away alone together!

All Covid protocols have been dropped....

so time for our fav!

A cruise!

Hello Miami...

and good morning to our ship!

The boys never believe us...proof!

Good bye Miami...and USA!

This was our first cruise with Virgin Voyages.

We really liked all the restaurant options.

Our dinners included a Korean BBQ night, where they cooked at our table, 

Mexican, Italian, Steak and Seafood and a vegetarian restaurant where we ordered steak and chicken!😄

We loved never having to stand in line for food!

Our first morning we got up super early as we had a 3 hour spa appointment!

It was a very relaxing time, followed by breakfast with a view.

Our room was great and the best part was this most comfortable hammock!

Made it to the DR!

There were only 800 guests on our ship!

Sometimes it was eerily quiet.

Great time to be at the pool!

We did a city and beach tour, discovering we love the

larimar stone, only mined in the DR.

And parrots! 

A little tour in Puerto Plata.

They were just celebrating the true Catholic Christmas this week.

Time well spent at the beach, followed by a special pool area then getting 

drenched on our way back to the ship!

"Shake for Champagne"

You could shake your phone and a bottle of bubbly 

was delivered! 

Yum!

A big formal, fun night!

Made it to Bimini beach.

Jake dove with the sharks while I had time in the Salon.

Followed by fun at the beach club!

Watching the young girls taking selfies,

trying it myself.

Somehow too old for that!

He wasn't having it! Ha!

While we cruised, the boys had a fun weed with Sittie and Grandad!

A fun night out with friends!

This girl know how to stay warm!

They don't....

Big snow storm, a great weekend inside with football, games and snacks.

this year is off to a great start!
