April 5-11 Get 'er done

Prep work for the new shed.

Trent is becoming a huge help

and learning lots of important skills

from Dad at home!

Many projects that we put off have now been getting done.

First trap in his new trap.....

Our wild "pet" bunny Rosie.

(She wasn't hurt and actually ate blueberries from the boys!)

Hoppers kept her company until we let her out! 😊🐇

Trent also loves

learning in the kitchen.

We have made some yummy treats, bread for the first time

and lots of great dinners.

So nice when they get along.

Kentucky, so I can trap bobcat, coyote, and fox and eat the famous KFC. 🐔

These two,
not sure what to do with us home all the time!

Hays public schools

has been handing out free hot lunches and breakfast daily.

We decided to take advantage of them 

for a hot meal, and something different. 

(plus, these guys eat A LOT!)

The lunches have been excellent and Sean loves going for his daily "outing".

Picking up the food always makes me a little emotional.

It shouldn't be this way....

(Update- 4-16, lunches are stopped due to a worker testing +) 😢

His dream come true!

Finally spent his birthday money from Sittie!

Now to find some H2O!

Finally a nice evening,

time to be outside.

We built a new house for Pops,

he loves it!

Fire pit,

always makes you feel better.

I slowly start to feel like its our

"old life".

Also good for the soul?

Sun, fun and farm time.

Just trying to get the ladies coming in for water,

now I see the rays that were over us that day. 🧡 🌞 ♰

On his bucket list-

catch a fish on a kayak.
